"I am interested in the space between what I’m seeing and feeling. In my work, I try to find the intersection between the visuals of a landscape and the emotion attached to that particular place. Through the spontaneity of paint pigments and constant exploration of new materials, I am able to let go and let the paint move freely and abstractly. Inspired by movement in nature, topography, mountain ridge lines, and the human form—my work is a collaboration of these elements.”
